The Story Behind the RV

One of my (Robert’s) goals and ambitions was to own an RV. In the summer of 2006 Cathy and I were driving by an RV for sale in a WalMart parking lot. It was 30 feet and listed for $2,500. This was insanely low so we just had to look at it. To make what will be a long story short that particular RV was leaking and half of the undercarriage was falling apart. To top it all of the interior was shredded. We did not buy it.
Thanks to that falling apart RV we got the bug to purchase one. Cathy went on the Internet for 3 hours that night and at the last minute she found a listing for an RV for less than $1,000 on Craig’s List.
Long story short we checked it out and wrote a deposit check on the spot. The people we purchased our RV from maintained it regularly; it is watertight and only has 58,000 miles on it. It is not the prettiest thing to look at. Our mechanic advises us not to replace the engine because it is not broken.
The decals pictured on the door do not exist yet. The Garfield touches are still in the design stages.
