Cathy Kothe, Owner of the www.LovesGarfield.com website has been validated by the Guinness Book of World Records to be the “Largest Collection of Garfield Memorabilia”.

The official record text reads:

Largest Collection of Garfield Memorabilia:

The largest collection of Garfield memorabilia includes 6,190 unique items and belongs to Cathy Kothe (USA). The achievement was verified in Huntington Station, New York, USA, on 10 April 2014.

When duplicates are included, the collection exceeds 11,000 items, as listed by Cathy’s official cataloguer – her husband Robert. The collection includes three slot machines, one Pachinko machine, a one-of-a-kind statue known as “Garf Rogers”, and a 25-ft-tall inflatable that is taller than Cathy and Robert’s house.

The following picture will also be printed in the 2015 Guinness Book of World Records in the “Stop the presses” section. This section is for notable records that have been accomplished after the book is almost ready to be printed. The record was validated on April 10,2014 and has almost doubled the previous record of just over 3000 unique Items.
